Abstract

"EXPRESSãO DE LISOSTAFINA MADURA RECOMBINANTE". A presente invenção refere-se a uma porção do gene de lisostafina de estafilococo simulans foi clonada e super expressa no citoplasma de E. coli para produzir lisostafina madura, na ausência de preprolisostafina e prolisostafina, sob o controle transcricional de um promotor induzível por IPTG e um sítio de ligação de ribossoma. A indução de IPTG das células hospedeiras transformadas produz lisostafina madura intracelular, solúvel ( 27 kDa ), na ausência completa de preprolisostafina e prolisostafina. A lisostafina madura desse modo formada não requer modificação pós-translacional. A lisostafina madura desse modo formada pode ser empregada para tratar e prevenir infecções estafilocócicas.
