Abstract
"BATERIA". Uma bateria dual de dois terminais com um controlador baseado em microprocessador é incorporada em uma única unidade. Duas baterias de 12 volts são contidas em um único alojamento que compartilha um terminal negativo comum e um único terminal positivo. A bateria auxiliar é acoplada permanentemente aos terminais externos da bateria. Uma seção de arranque pode ser acoplada aos terminais de bateria externos em paralelo com a seção auxiliar usando um relé eletromecânico de engate. O relé é controlado pelo microprocessador em resposta às entradas externas e parâmetros de bateria. Uma seção da bateria é construída para usos cíclicos profundos e normalmente provê potência para operar cargas auxiliares enquanto a outra seção de bateria é construída para satisfazer exigências de baixa resistência interna e saída de corrente alta de baixa duração eficiente.
