Abstract
"CéLULA ELETROLìTICA, E, PROCESSOS DE ELETROPURIFICAçãO E DE ELETROSSìNTESE DE PRODUTOS QUìMICOS". A eletropurificação de meio aquoso contaminado, como a água do solo e águas servidas de instalações de produção industrial tais como unidades de produção de papel, plantas de processamento de alimentos e unidades têxteis, são rapidamente purificadas, descoloridas e esterilizadas por projetos de células eletrolíticas de configuração aberta mais económicas (10) com os eletrodos (18, 20) compreendendo uma pluralidade de elementos porosos condutivos em contato elétrico um com o outro. As células (10) poderão ser divididas ou não divididas, e ligadas em um configuração monopolar ou bipolar. Electropurification of contaminated aqueous media, such as soil water and wastewater from industrial production facilities such as paper production units, food processing plants and textile units, are rapidly purified, discolored and sterilized by electrolytic cell designs. more economical open configuration (10) with electrodes (18, 20) comprising a plurality of conductive porous elements in electrical contact with each other. The cells (10) can be divided or not divided, and connected in a monopolar or bipolar configuration. When connected with electrodes with very narrow capillary spacing (18, 20), a more economical operation is ensured, especially when treating solutions of relatively low conductivity. The new cell design (10) is also useful in the electrosynthesis of chemicals, both organic and inorganic, as solutions for bleaching hypochlorite and other oxygenated species.
