Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "GERADOR DE SEQuêNCIA DE RUìDO PSEUDO ALEATóRIO DE SLEW RáPIDO". Um ou mais geradores de PN carregáveis são controlados por um DSP ou microprocessador em conjunto com um contador de funcionamento livre que mantém uma contagem de offset de referência. O gerador de PN será tipicamente parte de um coletor ou pesquisador. Cada gerador de PN é constituído por um registro de slew por retroalimentação linear carregável (LFSR - Loadable Linear Feeedback Shift Register) ou seu equivalente, um contador carregável para manter um índice do estado daquele gerador de PN particular e um dispositivo de controle de slew capaz de receber um comando de slew e controlar o LFSR e o contador de índice para simular um avanço ou retardo de uma certa distância de offset. O aumento de velocidade é efetuado por controle DSP. Uma tabela de estados LFSR e correspondentes números de índice são armazenados na memória. Tais estados LFSR irão subdividir o número total possível de estados possíveis. é vantajoso espaçar de modo uniforme os estados armazenados em torno do círculo PN. O slew rápido é habilitado pelo DSP em um processo de duas etapas. Inicialmente o gerador PN é carregado de tal forma que ele "pula" para o estado mais próximo utilizando a tabela, a seguir o controle de slew do gerador de PN é usado para slew o resto do percurso.
