Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>''MANGA DE ESCOAMENTO CONTROLADO''<D>. Método e aparelho para remover uma lente natural de um olho que proporciona a inserção de uma cânula de infusão (20) no interior de uma câmera anterior de um olho e estabelece uma comunicação fluida dentro da cápsula lenticular a partir da câmara anterior (28). Uma agulha de facoemulsificação (30) é inserida na cápsula lenticular para a emulsificação da lente natural (12) e ainda introduz o fluido de irrigação (26) na câmara anterior e na cápsula lenticular através da cânula de infusão. A lente emulsificada é aspirada através da luz na agulha de facoemulsificação e a manga (46), que circunda a agulha de facoemulsificação permite o escoamento do fluido de irrigação de modo a manter a pressão intra-ocular e resfriar a agulha de facoemulsificação.
