Abstract

<B>COMPOSIçãO ADESIVA FUNDIDA A QUENTE E LâMINA ADESIVA<D> Composição adesiva fundida a quente sensível à água baseada em copolímeros de polialquilenoiminas para uso em artigos tais como produtos de papel, produtos não tecidos descartáveis, fitas, etiquetas e materiais de embalagem. Variando a quantidade de copolímero incluído na composição, assim como variando a estrutura da cadeia e a taxa de unidades de repetição solúveis para unidades de repetição insolúveis no copolímero, pode ser formulado um adesivo para modificar o grau de solubilidade desde 100% a 0% solúvel em água e/ou outras características de desempenho. A composição adesiva inclui cerca de 10% a cerca de 70% , em peso, de um copolímero de polialquilenoimina ou uma blenda de um ou mais copolímeros de polialquilenoimina; cerca de 0% a cerca de 70%, em peso, de uma resina pegasoja; cerca de 10% a cerca de 70% em peso de um plastificante compatível; e cerca de 0,1% a cerca de 3% em peso de um ou mais antioxidantes. O adesivo mantém o artigo numa condição montada, proporcionando força de ligação adesiva adequada durante o uso normal, mas, dissolve-se na presença de água, permitindo, desse modo, que o artigo seja reciclado ou de outra forma descartado de um modo conveniente do ponto de vista ambiental.
