Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO ADESIVA FUNDIDA A QUENTE E LâMINA ADESIVA". Composição adesiva fundida a quente sensível à água baseada em polímeros de copoliésteres ramificados sulfonados para uso com artigos tais como produtos de papel, produtos não tecidos descartáveis, fitas, etiquetas e materiais de embalagem. A composição adesiva inclui cerca de 10% a cerca de 90%, em peso, de copolímero de poliéster sulfonado ou uma mistura de um ou mais polímeros de poliéster sulfonados; cerca de 0% a cerca de 80%, em peso, de uma resina promotora de pegasojidade; cerca de 0% a cerca de 40% em peso de um plastificante compatível; cerca de 5% a cerca de 50% em peso de um polietileno glicol com um peso molecular maior do que 2000 e um ponto de fusão maior do que 50<198>C; e cerca de 0% a cerca de 3% em peso de um ou mais antioxidantes. O adesivo mantém o artigo em condição agrupada proporcionando força de ligação adesiva adequada durante o uso normal, mas, dissolve-se na presença de água, permitindo, desse modo, que o artigo seja reciclado ou, de outra forma, descartado de uma maneira ambientalmente amistosa.
