"ALUMINATO DE ZINCO, COMPOSIçãO PRECURSORA DE UM ALUMINATO DE ZINCO, PROCESSOS DE PREPARAçãO DE UM ALUMINATO E DE TRATAMENTO DE GASES, SISTEMA CATALìTICO E UTILIZAçãO DE UM ALUMINATO". A presente invenção refere-se a um aluminato de zinco que é caracterizado pelo fato de que ele apresenta após calcinação a 800°C, 8 horas, uma superfície específica de pelo menos 85 m²/g. A invenção refere-se também a uma composição precursora deste aluminato. O processo de preparação do aluminato e da composição compreende as etapas a seguir: põe-se em presença em um meio solvente um sal, um sol ou um alcóxido de zinco e um alcóxido de alumínio; efetua-se uma hidrólise da mistura assim formada por adição de água em uma quantidade em excesso em relação ao alcóxido de alumínio; recupera-se o precipitado formado e seca-se o mesmo eventualmente, obtendo-se desse modo a composição precursora; se for o caso, calcina-se o dito precipitado, obtendo-se assim o aluminato.
