Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO DE TRATAR áGUA DE PROCESSAMENTO"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de tratar água de processamento que contém íons de metal, em associação como alvejamento de polpa de lignocelulose. De acordo com a presente invenção, o método é caracterizado pelas etapas de a) ajustar o teor de Mg^ 2+^ da água de processamento para formar uma base de floculação para metais e uma substância orgânica; b) suprir uma fonte de carbonato (10) à água de processamento para precipitar cálcio como carbonato de cálcio, c) aumentar o pH da água de processamento ao adicionar licor branco (11) aos metais precipitados tais como hidróxidos de metal, d) adicionar um floculante (12, 13) à água de processamento, e e) separar os compostos de metal floculados, precipitados (16) a partir da água de processamento (17) por flutuação.
