Abstract
<B>"MéTODO PARA FORNECER E MANTER UMA SUPERFìCIE CATALITICAMENTE ATIVA EM UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA"<D> Uma superfície cataliticamente ativa é fornecida sobre as peças limpas, exposta a combustão de um motor de combustão interna que é "verde", tendo poucas horas de operação, ou é de design moderno, de baixa emissão. Um revestimento de substrato ou barreira térmica de grande área de superfície e preferencialmente capaz de manter uma temperatura de superfície de pelo menos 450° C é depositado na câmara de combustão. Dióxido de zircónio, sílica, ou cinza de óleo lubrificante são adequados. Uma porção cataliticamente ativa tal como platina ou ferro é dispersa em, ou com a superfície de trabalho de combustão do substrato. O ferro em nanofase do ferrocene ou platina em nanofase são adequados.
