Abstract
"MéTODO PARA DETECTAR A CONDIçãO DE UM FLUIDO EM UM SISTEMA FLUIDO". Um monitor de condição de fluido adequado para monitoramento em tempo real de um fluido em um sistema fluido tal como monitoramento a bordo de veículo de óleo do motor e fluido da transmissão para determinar contaminação. Uma sonda capacitiva de eletrodos de disposição espaçados é imersa no fluido e uma voltagem oscilante é aplicada em uma primeira frequência hertziana e a corrente I~ B~ medida como uma análoga da impiedância aparente do fluido. A voltagem é também aplicada à sonda em uma segunda frequência subhertziana e a corrente I~ S~ medida como uma análoga da impiedância da superfície de eletrodo. A diferença em correntes medidas ) 3 é determinada eletricamente comparada com um valor limite pré-determinado; e, a medida corrente de primeira frequência I~ B~ é comparada com um valor de limite superior e inferior para I~ B~ determinada empiricamente para o fluido linha base conhecido. Se ) 3 estiver abaixo do limite ou I~ B~ não estiver dentro dos limites superior e inferior, uma condição de falha é declarada e um indicador é ativado para alertar que o fluido não está adequado para operação continuada do sistema. Uma configuração alternativa inclui um sensor de nível de fluido.
