Abstract

Método de medida de la presencia de agua en filtros de gasóleo y sensor de agua para efectuar dicho método, comprendiendo un conjunto funcional asociado a una pareja de electrodos (5) que se disponen en la zona de decantación de agua que se separa del combustible en los filtros de gasóleo, aplicándose a dichos electrodos, por medio de una fuente de corriente (3) y un puente conmutador (4), una corriente eléctrica, en ciclos de medida separados por periodos de electricidad, determinándose cada ciclo como un tren de pulsos de corriente, efectuándose en el primer ciclo de medida una adaptación de la polarización de los electrodos (5), con el fin de optimizar la detección de si existe o no agua en el medio en el que se encuentran, ajustando, cuando se detecta la presencia de agua, la actividad funcional actuando sobre la duración de los pulsos de corriente.
