Abstract

"APARELHOS PARA IMPEDIR DERRAMAMENTO DURANTE O ATO DE BEBER, E, DE BEBER SEM DERRAMAR". Uma construção aperfeiçoada de copo que não derrama e de montagem de válvula que provê um selo extremamente seguro contra fluxo acidental de líquido pelo bico do copo. O ato de sugar no bico do copo cria uma pressão negativa ou um vácuo parcial contra um membro de válvula próximo ao bico possuidor de uma abertura no mesmo, causando o membro de válvula e abertura se moverem para fora de um membro protuberante, desbloqueando, desse modo, a abertura na válvula. Quando a abertura está desbloqueada, líquido pode fluir livremente através da válvula e do bico. Quando não em uso, a válvula fica assentada em uma posição de descanso fechada, com a abertura na válvula assentada sobre um membro protuberante e pressionada contra a base deste, selando completamente a abertura na montagem de válvula. A posição fechada provê um selo extremamente seguro contra vazamento de fluido, de modo que derramamentos inadvertidos ou mesmo tentativas deliberadas de forçar o líquido para fora do copo, como virando o copo de cabeça para baixo, ou sacudindo o copo, são ineficazes. A montagem de copo permite ainda fluxo de líquido variável, dependendo dos níveis de sucção aplicados, e permite que o fluxo seja regulado entre níveis ou velocidades de fluxo máximo ou regular e fluxo mínimo pela rotação da posição da montagem de válvula na cobertura do copo.
