Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO CAPAZ DE ESTABILIZAR COMPOSIçõES POLIMéRICAS CLARAS HALOGENADAS CONTRA OS EFEITOS DETERIORANTES DO CALOR, DA LUZ E DAS INTEMPéRIES, E, COMPOSIçãO POLIMéRICA". As composições estabilizadoras úteis para proteger o cloreto de polivinila claro e outras composições poliméricas claras que contêm halogênio usadas na fabricação de produtos de desgaste exterior contra a descoloração e degradação causada pela exposição à luz ultravioleta e intempéries, além de calor, compreendendo uma mercaptana latente que se degrada durante o processamento da composição em uma temperatura elevada para liberar uma mercaptana livre, em combinação com uma quantidade sinergística de um composto de salicilato de fenila livre. A mercaptana latente pode ser o aditivo estabilizador de calor único na composição estabilizadora, mas a mercaptana livre liberada durante o processo, pode também sinergizar a atividade dos estabilizadores de calor com base metálica ou com base orgânica, tais como os sais metálicos e estabilizadores organometálicos, como os carboxilatos de organoestanho e os mercaptídeos de organoestanho na composição polimérica. O cloreto de polivinila claro e outras composições poliméricas claras que contém halogênio, contendo estes compostos, também são fornecidas, as quais apresentam estabilidade à luz ultravioleta e a resistência às intempéries melhoradas, sem prejudicar o seu desempenho térmico.
