Abstract
"COMPOSTO DE BANDA DE RODAGEM DE PNEU" Foi inesperadamente determinado que borracha isopreno - butadieno tendo uma alta temperatura de transição vítrea dentro da faixa de cerca de -40°C a cerca de -25°C (IBR de alta Tg) pode ser carregada com sílica como um material de enchimento e utilizada na fabricação de bandas de rodagem de pneus que têm notáveis características de de performance. Por exemplo, tais bandas de rodagem de pneus oferecem menor histerese em altas temperaturas (aperfeiçoada resistência de rolamento) e maior histerese em baixas temperaturas (aperfeiçoadas características de tração úmida). Através da utilização de IBR de alta Tg em compostos de banda de rodagem de pneus, os máximos benefícios de composição de sílica podem ser realizados sem a necessidade de solução ou emulsão de borracha de estireno-butadieno (SBR) nas formulações de borracha de banda de rodagem. As formulações de borracha de banda de rodagem de pneus desta invenção normalmente conterão cerca de 20 phr (partes por 100 partes de borracha) a cerca de 100 phr da IBR de alta Tg. Em outras palavras, a borracha de banda de rodagem normalmente conterá pelo menos 20 phr da IBR de alta Tg e pode conter até 100 phr da IBR de alta Tg. O composto de banda de rodagem também conterá 40 phr a 150 phr de um material de enchimento com a condição de que pelo menos cerca de 20 phr de sílica estejam incluídos no material de enchimento. O composto de banda de rodagem de pneu também conterá um agente de acoplamento de sílica. Esta invençõa mais especificamente mostra uma co mposição de borracha de banda de rodagem de pneu que é compreendida por (1) pelo menos 20 phr de uma borracha de isopreno - butadieno tendo uma temperatura de transição vítrea que está dentro da faixa de cerca de -40°C a -25°C, (2) 40 phr a 150 phr de um material de enchimento, com a condição de que o material de enchimento contenha pelo menos cerca de 20 phr de sílica, e (3) um agente de acoplamento de sílica.
