Abstract
''PROCESSO PARA PREPARAçãO DE POLIETILENO OU POLIPROPILENO" Processo para preparação de (i) polietileno ou (ii) polipropileno, que é essencialmente isostático ou uma mistura de polipropilenos atáticos e isostáticos compreendendo contato de etileno ou propileno por si, ou em mistura com uma ou mais alfa-olefinas, sob condições de polimerização, com um sistema catalítico compreendendo: (a) um pré-catalisador compreendendo uma mistura de estereoisómeros racêmico e meso de um catalisador de metaloceno contendo dois ligandos cicloalcadienila ligados por uma ligação em ponte, ditos ligandos complexados a um átomo de metal; e (b) (1) para obter polietileno apenas do epímero racêmico, um cocatalisador selecionado do grupo consistindo de tris (perfluorfenil) borano e alumoxano de isobutila; (2) para obter polietileno a partir de ambos epímeros, um cocatalisador selecionado do grupo consistindo de tetrakis (perfluorfenil) borato de dimetilanilinio e tetrakis (perfluorfenil) borato de trifenilmetila; (3) para obter polipropileno, que é essencialmente isostático, um cocatalisador selecionado do grupo consistindo de tris (perfluorfenil) borano e alumoxano de isobutila; (4) para obter polipropileno, que é uma mistura de polipropilenos atático e isostático, em uma razão em peso de polipropilenos atático para isostático de cerca de 0,01:1 à cerca de 1:1, cocatalisador selecionado do grupo consistindo de tetrakis (perfluorfenil) borato de dimetilanilinio e tetrakis (perfluorfenil) borato de trifenilmetila, onde, no sistema catalítico, a razão atómica de alumínio, caso presente, para o átomo de metal, no pré-catalisador, está na faixa de cerca de 1:1 à cerca de 1000:1, e a razão atómica de boro, caso presente, para o átomo de metal, no pré-catalisador é de cerca de 1:1 à cerca de 3:1, e quanto alumoxano de isobutila é empregado, uma mistura de alumoxano de isobutila e o pré-catalisador é aquecido a uma temperatura de pelo menos cerca de 90° C, por pelo menos cerca de uma hora antes do uso.
