Abstract

<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA APERFEIçOAR A QUALIDADE DOS SINAIS DE FALA TRANSMITIDOS ATRAVéS DE EQUIPAMENTOS DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO<D> Tem sido reconhecido que, em um sistema de comunicação sem fio, certos quadros de dados codificados de fala transmitidos entre uma estação de base e uma unidade móvel, ou entre uma unidade móvel e uma estação de base, são mais críticos do que outros. Um quadro pode ser determinado como sendo apagado pela unidade móvel ou estação de base de recebimento devido a ruído ou interferência através do meio de transmissão sem fio. Se um quadro apagado não pode ser recriado com base em um ou mais quadro precedentes, então ele é mais crítico do que um quadro que pode ser recriado por uma extrapolação de dados de um ou mais quadros precedentes. Por conseguinte, um a um, cada quadro em uma seq³ência de quadros é identificado como crítico ou não-crítico. Cada quadro que é identificado como crítico é então transmitido de uma maneira mais robusta do que a maneira na qual os quadros não-críticos são transmitidos, para diminuir a probabilidade de que um receptor determine que o quadro está apagado. Em um sistema de AMDC, um quadro atual é identificado como crítico pela formação de uma soma ponderada das diferenças entre parâmetros correspondentes de quadro que representam o quadro atual e os parâmetros de quadro que representam um quadro anterior. Aquela soma podenrada é comparada com um limite. Se a soma ponderada exceder o limite, então o quadro atual é classificado como um quadro crítico e é transmitido em um nível de saída maior do que aquele em que são transmitidos os quadros não-críticos.
