Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA FORNECER CALOR A UMA CARGA DE FORNO CONTIDA DENTRO DE UM FORNO POSSUINDO UM PISO". Processo para aquecimento e/ou fusão de uma carga tal como alumínio dentro de um forno usando calor gerado pela combustão para radiantemente aquecer a carga através de uma camada de gás protetor no qual os produtos da reação de combustão gerados pela combustão são descarregados de um nível mais baixo dentro do forno, e, durante a fusão, a camada de gás protetor possui um limite superior mais elevado do que durante um subseq³ente período de aquecimento, permitindo geração reduzida de NO~ x~, menores consumos de oxigênio e de combustível e reduzida corrosão do refratário por meio de prevenção do fluxo do gás do forno através da região superior do forno de elevada temperatura.
