Abstract
"CONJUNTO DE PONTES RETIFICADORAS". Um conjunto de pontes retificadoras para uso com um alternador automotivo inclui uma placa de base montada de modo condutor a um terra e provendo uma dissipação térmica negativa, e uma estrutura aletada dissipadora térmica positiva possuindo uma área de superfície de pelo menos duas vezes a da placa de base, a qual se une à placa de base para definir cooperativamente entre elas uma câmara. Quando utilizada em conexão com um gerador elétrico convencional de CA do tipo de 3 fases, são providos três terminais de conexão, cada um incluindo uma porção superior que se estende através da estrutura dissipadora térmica positiva em uma relação não-condutora, e uma porção inferior disposta dentro da câmara e ali suportada por um epóxi termo-condutor, eletricamente não-condutor. Três diodos dispostos dentro da câmara se estendem entre a placa de base e os respectivos terminais dos terminais de conexão do estator. Três diodos adicionais são dispostos dentro da câmara entre os respectivos terminais de conexão do estator e a estrutura dissipadora térmica positiva sobrejacente.
