Abstract
"ACOPLAMENTOS TIPO ESPIRAL, DE DOIS SENTIDOS TIPO ESPIRAL, DE QUATRO-DIREçõES TIPO ESPIRAL, E, CAIXAS DE TRANSFERêNCIA DE TRAçãO DE QUATRO-RODAS, E DE TRAçãO DE TODAS AS RODAS" Um acoplamento tipo espiral (10) consiste de uma sapata tubular (14) entre um membro tubular (12) e um canalete (6), havendo superfícies de fricção tubular encaixáveis (20, 36) sobre a sapata (14) e o canalete (16) e pares confrontantes de superfícies em espiral no sentido e contra-sentido horário (18a, 18b, 22a, 22b) no membro tubular (12) e a sapata (14) definindo entre ela um canal (28) recebendo membros rolete (30), havendo um atuador encaixável com a sapata (14) para fornecer, dois, três ou quatro diferentes modos de operação (por exemplo, travamento, circulação livre em ambas as direções, circulação livre em uma direção e/ou na outra).
