Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO AQUOSA, E, PROCESSO PARA PREPARAçãO E USO DA MESMA" Uma composição aquosa apropriada para revestir um substrato é descrita. A composição compreende um produto de reação de (i) pelo menos um ácido carboxílico contendo de 3 a 22 átomos de carbono; e (ii) pelo menos uma não substituída ou substituída amina alifática ou amina aromática polifuncional, contendo de 2 a 25 átomos de carbono; (iii) agente de reticulação complexo de um metal dos grupos Ia, IIa, IIIa, ou IVa da primeira e segunda filas dos metais de transição da Tabela periódica de Elementos; (iv) uma resina ou óleo, a relação de peso da resina ou óleo para a soma de (i), (ii), e (iii) sendo pelo menos 2.5:1; e (v) um espessador, uma camada seca contínua obtida pela aplicação da composição ao Cedro Vermelho do Oeste fornecendo um ângulo de contato com a água não excedendo a 80°.
