Abstract

"SISTEMA E PROCESSO PARA CONTROLAR UM VEìCULO, E, ARTIGO DE MANUFATURA". Um sistema (10) para controlar um veículo que possui um motor de combustão interna (12) e um turbo-alimentador de formato geométrico variável (50) inclui um sensor de turbo-alimentador que possui uma saída indicativa do formato geométrico de turbo-alimentador corrente. O formato geométrico de turbo-alimentador é variado por um atuador controlável. A lógica de controle (62) determina um formato geométrico de turbo-alimentador desejado com base nas condições correntes do motor. A lógica de controle determina um sinal de erro pela comparação do formato geométrico de turbo-alimentador corrente com o formato geométrico de turbo-alimentador desejado. O atuador é controlado baseado no sinal de erro para mudar o formato geométrico de turbo-alimentador corrente de modo a rastrear o formato geométrico de turbo-alimentador desejado.
