Abstract

"MóDULO DE RESERVATóRIO-SECADOR DE AR". Um conjunto de reservatório e secador a ar para proporcionamento de ar comprimido a partir de um compressor de ar (20) em um veículo de motor pesado que inclui um secador a ar (4) conectado para receber ar comprimido a partir do compressor de ar (20) e um reservatório (12) secundário para armazenagem do ar comprimido que passa através do secador de ar (4), com o secador de ar (4) e o reservatório (12) secundário sendo fixamente seguros a um compartimento (16) para formação de um módulo (10) de reservatório-secador a ar. Um reservatório (18) primário para armazenagem de ar comprimido a partir do secador a ar (14) encontra-se localizado afastadamente do referido módulo (10) de reservatório-secador a ar. Os componentes localizados no interior do compartimento (16) controlam o fluxo de ar entre o secador a ar (14) e os reservatórios (18, 12) primário e secundário e monitoram também os circuitos de sistema de frenagem pneumático alimentados pelos reservatórios (18, 12) primário e secundário.
