Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A REDUçãO DE EMISSõES DE NO~ X~" A invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de redutores de NO~ x~pela injeção de hidrocarbonetos em uma câmara de combustão de motor a diesel, durante o ciclo de expansão. O hidrocarboneto secundário injetado é transformado, sob condições apropriadas, em oxigenados e olefinas que são adequadas para a redução de espécies de NO~ x~ na presença de catalisadores de exaustão convencional. O tempo de injeção apropriado é obtido por referência com uma calibração feita por medições diretas no motor.
