Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE COMUTAçãO PARA TRANSMISSãO DE SINAIS DE VOZ E DADOS MULTIPLEXADOS EM UMA REDE DE COMUNICAçãO, E, PROCESSO DE CONTROLAR O MESMO". Dispositivo de comutação em uma rede de comunicação para transmissão de sinais de voz e dados multiplexados usando uma pluralidade de intervalos de tempo. O dispositivo de comutação da invenção compreende módulos de espaço e módulos de tempo para fornecer conexões entre intervalos de tempo arbitrários nas entradas e saídas de acordo com solicitações de conexão determinadas por um meio de controle C.O dispositivo de comutação inclui meio de trajeto alternativo para fornecer uma conexão em dois intervalos de tempo arbitrários, no caso em que dito meio de controle não pode estabelecer uma conexão regular via os módulos de tempo e os módulos de espaço. Em um caso onde bloqueio ocorre, um trajeto alternativo usando dito meio de trajeto alternativo é assim estabelecido. Dito meio de trajeto alternativo pode compreender módulos de tempo anti-bloqueio e dispositivos externos. A invenção permite reduzir custos de componentes físicos ou aumentar carga enquanto fornecendo um serviço de comutação virtualmente não bloqueante.
