Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA PROPORCIONAR PARALISAçãO DE EMERGêNCIA DE UM DISPOSITIVO COM MAU FUNCIONAMENTO". Em um sistema (100) de rede tendo uma pluralidade de dispositivos (102) se comunicando através de uma rede (104), é provido um método (300, 400) e sistema (100) para proporcionar um sinal de emergência. Em uma modalidade, um dispositivo (102) está com mau funcionamento se o dispositivo (102) transmitir dados continuamente para a rede (104) sem autorização adequada. Um outro dispositivo (102) funcionando adequadamente transmite o sinal de emergência através de um canal auxiliar (108) para o dispositivo (102) com mau funcionamento. O canal auxiliar (108) é um canal separado suportando a transmissão do sinal de emergência. O dispositivo (102) com mau funcionamento recebe o sinal de emergência e se desabilita em resposta a esse sinal.
