Abstract
"SISTEMA DE ENGRENAMENTO PARA UM VEìCULO, SISTEMA ENGRENADOR PARA ENGRENAR UMA TRANSMISSãO EM UM VEìCULO, SISTEMA DE ENGRENAMENTO PARA CONTROLAR ENGRENAMENTO DE TRANSMISSãO DE VEìCULO, VEìCULO DE PASSAGEIROS, PROCESSOS PARA OPERAR UM VEìCULO E PARA CONTROLAR ENGRENAMENTO DE UMA TRANSMISSãO DE VEìCULO, E, SISTEMA ELéTRICO DE SENSORIAMENTO PARA UM MECANISMO DE ENGRENAMENTO DE UM VEìCULO". Um sistema engrenador para engrenamento de uma transmissão em um veículo inclui um engrenador (150, Fig. 28) que tem uma alavanca para mudança de marcha (152, 207) móvel entre diversas posições de engrenamento, um dispositivo sensor elétrico (160, 206) no engrenador para sensoriar posições da alavanca para mudança de marcha e um controlador (208) conectado ao dispositivo sensor e construído para controlar o engrenamento de uma transmissão, baseado em sinais do dispositivo sensor indicadores da posição da alavanca para mudança de marcha. A gear system for gearing a transmission in a vehicle includes a gear (150, Fig. 28) that has a shift lever (152, 207) movable between various gear positions, an electrical sensor device (160, 206) on the gearbox for sensing gear shift lever positions and a controller (208) connected to the sensor device and built to control the gearing of a transmission, based on signals from the sensor device indicating gear shift position. The controller and the sensor device, as a system, are able to determine the speed or acceleration of the gear shift lever and the controller is programmed to change the transmission gear control accordingly. The sensor device can be any one of a variety of different sensors, such as a continuous output potentiometer, a discrete output potentiometer, a series of switches, a membrane potentiometer, a deformable potentiometer of variable resistance, optical or mechanical readers, and the like.
