''FUNGICIDAS QUE COMPREENDEM 4-METIL-6-PENTIL-2H-PIRAN-2-ONA'' A presente invenção proporciona uma composição fungicida que compreende o composto 4-metil-6-pentil-2H-piran-2-ona e um ou mais veículos, adjuvantes e/ou diluentes adequados. é também proporcionado um método de evitar ou pelo menos inibir o desenvolvimento de fungos que compreende a etapa de aplicar o composto do fungo ou do local dos mesmos. é também adicionalmente proporcionado um processo para a preparação dos referidos compostos.
