Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA O CONTROLE DA TEMPERATURA DE UM LINGOTE DURANTE A FUNDIçãO, PARTICULARMENTE NO INìCIO"<D>. Um método para o controle da temperatura de uma superfície de uma fundição de lingote por fundição dura direta em um molde com extremidade aberta produzido com um bloco de base durante os estágios precoces da fundição a medida que o lingote emerge do molde com extremidade aberta. O método envolve as etapas de direcionar um fluxo de um refrigerante sobre pelo menos uma superfície de um lingote emergindo de um molde com extremidade aberta para colidir sobre a superfície em um ponto de colisão normal e para resfriar a superfície, medir uma temperatura de superfície no lingote emergente em pelo menos uma localização de medição que está em uma posição predeterminada perto o suficiente do ponto de colisão normal a ser afetado pelo refrigerante secundário, para gerar uma temperatura de superfície medida, determinar o deslocamento do bloco de base da máquina de fundição de sua posição inicial no início da fundição, correspondendo a cada uma das medições de temperatura da superfície, e usar a temperatura de superfície medida para controlar uma variável de fundição e, dessa forma, controlar a temperatura da superfície.
