Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>PROCESSO E DISPOSTIVO PARA A PRODUçãO DE PLACAS''<D>. A invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de placas com uma espessura D > 100 mm e com velocidades de fundição de v < 3 m/min, em uma instalação de fundição contínua na qual a uma lingoteria é alimentada massa fundida de um reservatório através de um bico submerso e do qual, pelo lado de abertura, a carapaça que abarca uma cratera líquida é descarregada até a uma armação de guia para biletes, especialmente uma instalação de fundição contínua em arco. Segundo a invenção, a massa fundida aduzida entra na lingoteira com uma válvula (v~ K~) que se comporta à velocidade de descarga do bilete (v~ B~) como v~ K~:v~ B~ = 6:1 até 60:1 e de que os fios de corrente da massa fundida aduzida são guiados de maneira tal que, relacionados ao nível de massa fundida, penetram na cratera líquida em frente larga, apresentando um perfil retangular, com um comprimento de L < 2 m. A invenção ainda refere-se a um dispositivo para a produção de placas.
