Abstract

''PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO DE CONVERSãO DE TAXA DE AMOSTRA''. Um conversor de taxa de amostra (200) é descrito para converter um fluxo de dados de entrada incluindo uma pluralidade de amostras de entrada (X) em uma taxa de amostra a um fluxo de dados de saída incluindo uma pluralidade de amostras de saída (Y) em uma outra taxa de amostra. O conversor usa uma aproximação de interpolação que utiliza um acumulador de inteiro (220) para trilhar a relação de temporização entre amostras de entrada e amostras de saída. Baseado no valor do acumulador, o processo determina se as corretas amostras de entrada estão sendo usadas para calcular amostra de saída corrente. Se sim, amostra de saída é calculada como uma função as amostras de entrada e do valor do acumulador. O conversor fornece a potência de uma aproximação de conversão baseada em tabela sem a necessidade de pré-calcular e armazenar uma tabela, simplifica os cálculos envolvidos, e é menos sensível a erros de arredondamento numérico.
