Abstract
"MéTODO PARA A MONTAGEM DE UMA ESTRUTURA FLUTUANTE OFFSHORE". Trata-se de um método para emparelhar o convés em um estrutura offshore flutuante tal como um casco de vergóntea, unir componentes de um casco de vergóntea, e uma combinação ou variação destes procedimentos. Geralmente, a instalação é executada como segue. Uma vez no local do emparelhamento, o componente do casco de vergóntea é assentado, adaptado com controles e hardware necessário para efetuar a submersão controlada do componente de casco de vergóntea e é submerso até uma profundidade predeterminada abaixo da superfície da água para ter uma área plana de água zero. O segundo componente a ser emparelhado com o topo do componente de casco de vergóntea é posicionado para flutuar acima do componente de casco de vergóntea submerso. O calado do componente de casco de vergóntea submerso é diminuído até que os dois componentes estejam totalmente engatados.
