Abstract

Patente de Invenção para "ACOPLADOR/ROMPEDOR DE FIBRA óPTICA 1x N". As porções terminais de uma pluralidade de fibras ópticas são separadas; as porções revestidas das fibras constituem rabos de porco. A porção separada de uma das fibras é fundida para uma seção de fibra não-revestida tendo um diâmetro que é maior do que aquele das porções de tira de fibra separada. Uma pré-forma de acoplador de fibra óptica é produzida pelo circundamento da seção de fibra não-revestida com as porções separadas das fibras remanescentes, para formar uma série de fibras acondicionadas fechadas. Pelo menos uma porção da região de sobreposição da seção de fibra não-revestida e das porções terminais separadas é aquecida e estirada, para induzir o acoplamento de sinais ópticos entre a seção de fibra não-revestida e as porções separadas.
