<B>DISPOSITIVO E PROCESSO PARA TRATAMENTO à ALTA TEMPERATURA DE MATERIAL LIGNO-CELULóSICO<D>, onde o dispositivo compreende: uma câmara de tratamento (48) de material (19), pelo menos uma câmara de combustão (45, 30) que tem pelo menos um queimador (31) que funciona em uma atmosfera redutora, dispositivos de misturação (41, 26, 26') que asseguram uma circulação do gás da câmara de tratamento de maneira tal que uma parte do gás proveniente da câmara circula através da câmara de combustão (45, 30); o processo compreende as etapas de: - pré-aquecimento e secagem de material a uma temperatura próxima da temperatura de vaporização da água; - aquecimento do material em uma atmosfera redutora; e - resfriamento do material mediante a injeção de vapor d'água.
