A frozen confectionery comprising a mass of milk containing a frozen confectionery and a discrete element of creamy ice cream, in which the creamy ice cream is essentially non-viscous and has a composition that, in the form of a creamy ice cream solution, has a rheometry value of more than about 1 , 0. The frozen confectionery has an element of soft creamy ice cream. The iced confection is provided by a process in which (i) a milk mass containing an iced confection is contacted with a creamy ice cream solution that has a rheometry value of more than about 1.0, to make the creamy ice cream solution come adhering to the mass of milk containing the frozen confectionery, at least in part in the form of creamy ice cream; and (ii) the sticky cream sorbet solution is rapidly cooled to - 15 <198> C or less.
