Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA RECUPERAR HEMICELULOSE E PRODUTOS QUìMICOS DE POLPAçãO A PARTIR DE UMA SOLUçãO DE PARTIDA ESSENCIALMENTE ISENTA DE LIGNINA"<D>. Os produtos químicos da polpação e a hemicelulose são recuperados de uma solução de partida essencialmente isenta de lignina, porém contendo uma mistura de hemicelulose e cáustico por submeter essa solução à eletrólise no compartimento anólito de uma célula eletrolítica. Pela eletrólise a concentração de cáustico no anólito é reduzida e a concentração de cáustico no católito da referida célula é aumentada de modo a permitir a recuperação de cerca de 60 até cerca de 80 por cento do cáustico presente na solução de partida de hemicelulose e cáustico.
