Abstract
"SEPARAçãO DE MATERIAIS INTERMISTURADOS DE GRAVIDADE ESPECìFICA DIFERENTE". Um separador centrífugo para separar metais pesados dos mais leves ou inclui um cesto (10) giratório em torno de seu eixo e definindo áreas de coleta anulares (19, 20) sobre a superfície periférica do cesto em posições espaçadas axialmente ao longo do cesto. In the peripheral wall (11) of each area, a plurality of angularly spaced discharge openings (29) are provided which are controlled by pressure valves (42) to periodically allow the radial outlet of the collected material. The pressure valves in the first area (19) are controlled at a different time than the pressure valves in the second area (20) to vary the concentration of the materials collected in the different areas. The pressure valves work through a pressurized liquid system that is fed to the different areas through a rotating coupling mounted on a longitudinal axis that supports the basket.
