Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO E APARELHOS PARA SEPARAçãO ELETROTáTICA"<D>. Um separador do tipo de correia reversa para separar uma mistura de partículas, inclusive partículas condutivas, inclui um conjunto de gradiente de voltagem que tem uma pluralidade de elementos condutivos interdipostos com uma pluralidade de elementos dielétricos. A pluralidade de elementos condutivos está acoplada aos respectivos nodos de um circuito divisor de voltagem para dividir uma voltagem entre um eletrodo de alto potencial, do separador eletrostático e um potencial de referência. A pluralidade de elementos condutivos e os elementos dielétricos em combinação com o circuito divisor de voltagem limitam um potencial de voltagem entre quaisquer elementos condutivos adjacentes a um potencial máximo, de modo a evitar o faiscamento devido à presença de partículas condutivas no separador. Em uma representação do separador, o conjunto gradiente de voltagem é um material plástico extrudado que tem elementos tanto condutivos como não-condutivos, e as peças de alumínia estão dispostas entre elementos condutivos para prover uma superfície gradiente de voltagem durável.
