<B>APERFEIçOAMENTO DO RENDIMENTO DE PLANTAS<D> A invenção refere-se ao uso exógeno de betaína para aperfeiçoar o rendimento de plantas de fumo. De acordo com a invenção, betaína é utilizada para aperfeiçoar o rendimento especialmente sob condições de tensão. A invenção também se refere a plantas de fumo tratadas exogenamente com betaína, a folhas e outras partes de tais plantas de fumo, e a produtos contendo estas folhas e outras partes.
