Abstract
The method is applied in the removal and regeneration of acidic gases contained in mixed gas flows, more specially carbon dioxide in flue gases. The improvement of the known method includes cooling of the regenerated during the process alkanolamine containing 20 wt. percent alkanolamine to temperatures adequate for supporting this solution temperatures up to 35 degrees C at least within 50 percent of the volume of the absorption section in the absorption zone. The cooled regenerated aqueous solution of alkanolamine is directed into the absorption zone to contact the CO2 - rich gas flow in the processed section and as a result evolve the CO2 contained in this flow.
