Abstract

MÉTODO E APARELHO PARA DETECTAR DEFEITOS OU DETERIORAÇÃO NAS PAREDES LATERAIS DE CORPOS DE LATA. Trata-se de um método de detecção de defeitos ou deterioração nas paredes laterais de corpos de lata durante a produção dos corpos de lata em um moldador de corpo de lata. Cada corpo de lata é formado empurrando-se um copo, montado em um punção de um êmbolo de movimento alternado, através de uma ou mais matrizes contidas em um estojo de ferramentas do moldador de corpo. O método compreende: obter sinais de saída de um ou mais sensores de corrente parasita dispostos ao redor do eixo geométrico do êmbolo fora do estojo de ferramentas e adjacentes a uma extremidade de saída do estojo de ferramentas; processar os sinais de saída para detectar a passagem de extremidades abertas de paredes laterais de corpo de lata pelo(s) sensor(es) e, desse modo, determinar as medidas das alturas ou espessuras de paredes laterais do corpo de lata; e analisar as medidas determinadas para identificar defeitos ou deterioração de parede lateral de corpo de lata.
