PEÇA CORTANTE INTERCALADA, SEU USO E PROCESSO DE USINAGEM. A presente invenção refere-se a uma peça cortante (2, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205), que está formada para produzir um perfil em forma de V (1002) em uma peça a trabalhar (1000) por inserção radial, com referência a um eixo de rotação da peça a trabalhar (1001) da peça a trabalhar (1000), que apresenta um plano de referência (100) e uma região de inserção em forma de V (1, 01, 102, 103, 104), sendo que a região de inserção (1, 101, 102, 103, 104) apresenta, entre outras coisas, duas arestas de corte (3, 4), contidas no plano de referência (100), uma face de cavaco (7) e uma pluralidade de cavidades de guia de cavacos (8, 8', 8", 80, 80', 80") alongadas na face de cavaco (7), que se estendem, em cada caso, paralelamente a um eixo de extensão de cavidade (10), contido no plano de referência (100) e que tem uma formação de cavacos aperfeiçoada em comparação com o estado da técnica, propõe-se que os eixos de extensão de cavidades (10) se estendam, em cada caso, sob um ângulo de guia de cavacos na cavidade (12) na faixa de 0 grau até 45 graus.
