Abstract

APARELHO DE ANTENA. Um aparelho de antena inclui uma primeira camada de componente que tem uma pluralidade de RFICs dispostas em uma primeira geometria de retícula (por exemplo, retangular), em que cada RFIC compreende um circuito de formação de feixes. Uma segunda camada de componente paralelo sobrepõe a primeira camada de componente e inclui uma pluralidade de elementos de antena dispostos em uma segunda geometria de retícula diferente (por exemplo, triangular). Os elementos de antena têm respectivos pontos de alimentação, cada um acoplado a uma almofada de entrada/saída (I/O) de um RFIC. Cada almofada de E/S é alinhada com O ponto de alimentação acoplado ao mesmo ao longo de um eixo geométrico ortogonal à primeira e à segunda camadas.
