MONITORAMENTO ULTRAVIOLETA DE DESEMPENHO DE CROMATOGRAFIA POR QUADRADOS MÍNIMOS PARCIAIS ORTOGONAIS. A presente invenção refere-se a métodos para monitorar o desempenho de cromatografia em coluna. Os métodos podem incluir a aquisição de um ou mais traços ultravioletas de cromatograma (UV) gerados por um sistema de cromatografia durante purificação e/ou separação de amostra; e analisar o um ou mais traços de UV de cromatograma capturados com um modelo de quadrados mínimos parciais ortogonais (OPLS), permitindo, desse modo, a detecção da deterioração da coluna antes da falha da coluna e análise quantitativa do sinal UV nos um ou mais traços de UV de cromatograma.
