Abstract

COMPOSIÇÃO À BASE DE ÁGUA. A presente invenção se refere a uma composição à base de água que compreende uma dispersão aquosa de primeiras e de segundas partículas de polímero de múltiplos estágios, sendo que tanto as primeiras como as segundas partículas de polímero compreendem um núcleo ocluído em água e um invólucro polimérico de alta Tg, sendo que as segundas partículas de polímero de múltiplos estágios compreendem adicionalmente uma camada de aglutinante polimérico que se sobrepõe ao invólucro. A composição da presente invenção é útil para reduzir a carga de TiO2 em formulações de tinta, produzindo, ao mesmo tempo, revestimentos com excelentes ocultação e resistência ao esfregamento.
