Abstract
EPARADOR CENTRÍFUGO. Um separador centrífugo é configurado para processar um produto separando um componente relativamente pesado e um componente relativamente leve dele. O separador centrífugo compreende um fuso (3) suportado por uma estrutura fixa (2). Uma unidade de acionamento (4) atua em um elemento giratório (5) montado no fuso para rotacionar o fuso. Um rotor de centrífuga (8) montado no fuso encerra um espaço de separação (9). Uma caixa de rolamento superior (20) é montada na estrutura fixa e suporta rolamentos (22, 23) que compreendem um anel de rolamento externo (24) fixado à caixa de rolamento superior e um anel de rolamento interno (25) fixado ao fuso. A caixa de rolamento superior é montada na estrutura fixa (2) por meio de um elemento elástico (40) que permite que a caixa de rolamento superior e o fuso se movam radialmente e por meio de um elemento basculante superior (41) que permite que o fuso incline durante a operação do separador centrífugo.
