Abstract
ELEMENTO DE TENSIONAMENTO DE DISPOSITIVO DE ESTABILIZAÇÃO DE CABEÇA E MÉTODO DE USO. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de estabilização de cabeça para estabilizar a cabeça de um paciente, durante um procedimento médico, que inclui um projeto modular, no qual conjuntos de estabilização de várias configurações são intercambiáveis nas partes receptoras ao longo de uma estrutura. O dispositivo inclui um elemento de tensionamento, posicionado distante do conjunto de estabilização, mas ainda operável para aumentar ou diminuir uma quantidade de força que o conjunto de estabilização aplica na cabeça do paciente. O dispositivo inclui um elemento de travamento para um conjunto de estabilização, tendo um elemento rotativo, que tem um ou mais elementos de estabilização conectados a ele. O dispositivo inclui um elemento de ajuste para ajustar um espaçamento entre os elementos estruturais, com o elemento de ajuste proporcionando uma amplitude de ajuste contínua em vez de incrementos de ajuste finitos.
