Abstract
MICROESTRUTURA DE METAL DURO COM BASE SOBRE NBC. A presente invenção se refere a um metal duro com base sobre carbeto de nióbio, e a seu método de fabricação, possuindo propriedades mecânicas desejadas. O metal duro com base sobre carbeto de nióbio é preferivelmente livre de WC e/ou compreende NbC composicionalmente como o componente em % em peso predominante da fase de ligante. O metal duro com base sobre carbeto de nióbio é preferivelmente livre de Co dentro da fase de ligante. O presente metal duro exibe uma microestrutura com uma estrutura de núcleo-aro, reforçadas robustez (resistência) e condutividade térmica, enquanto mantendo desejadas tenacidade e dureza.
