Abstract

SISTEMAS E APARELHOS DE MÚLTIPLAS CAPTURAS CONTÍNUAS ROTATIVAS PARA CAPTURA DE AR DIRETA MELHORADA DE DIÓXIDO DE CARBONO (DAC+). Trata-se de um sistema e método para remover dióxido de carbono de uma mistura de gás carregada de dióxido de carbono, em que o sistema compreende um grupo de estruturas de remoção de dióxido de carbono movendo-se ao longo de uma pista curva fechada. Em um local ao longo da pista está localizada uma caixa de dessorção ou regeneração, na qual cada estrutura de captura passa para ser regenerada. A maioria das estruturas de remoção de CO2 são alimentadaa com ar ambiente, ou uma mistura por adição de ar ambiente com uma porção menor de um gás de combustão e ar de exaustão pobre em CO2. Pelo menos uma estrutura de remoção selecionada dentro de cada grupo, em um local imediatamente anterior à sua entrada na estrutura de captura, é alimentada com um gás de combustão que compreende pelo menos 4% de CO2 por volume. Um método para remover o dióxido de carbono da atmosfera é fornecido utilizando um sistema que opera da mesma maneira que o sistema anterior.
