Abstract
PROTEÍNAS INSETICIDAS. A presente invenção refere-se a métodos para o controle de pragas de insetos. Em particular, a invenção se refere a novas proteínas inseticidas tendo toxicidade a pelo menos pragas de insetos de coleópteros. A invenção se refere ainda a moléculas de ácido nucleico que codificam as novas proteínas inseticidas. Métodos de produção das proteínas inseticidas e métodos de uso das proteínas inseticidas e ácidos nucleicos que codificam as proteínas inseticidas da divulgação, por exemplo, em plantas transgênicas para conferir proteção contra danos causados por insetos, também são divulgados.
